BMC Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., bu yıl ilk kez savunma sanayisinde dünyanın en büyük 100 şirketi arasına girmeye hak kazandı.
Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri olmak üzere dost ve müttefik ülkelerin ihtiyaçlarına yönelik özel çözümler sunan BMC Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., bu yıl ilk kez savunma sanayisinde dünyanın en büyük 100 şirketi arasına girmeye hak kazandı.
Amerikan menşeli uluslararası savunma sanayi haber portalı “DEFENSE NEWS”ın dünyanın en prestijli savunma sanayisi listesi olarak kabul edilen “DEFENSE NEWS TOP 100” sonuçları açıklandı. BMC, Dünyanın En Büyük İlk 100 Savunma Sanayi Firması arasında 85. sırada yer alırken, “Türkiye’den kara araçları üreticisi olarak listeye giren tek firma” oldu. Adını dünyanın en iyileri arasına yazdıran BMC’nin bu başarıyı yakalamasında, geçen yıl savunma sanayisinde yakaladığı rekor gelir artışı belirleyici oldu.
Otokar, otomobil mi üretecek?
BMC Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., ticari ve askeri araç üretiminde yarım asrı aşan deneyimi ile başta Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri olmak üzere dost ve müttefik ülkelerin ihtiyaçlarına yönelik özel çözümler sunuyor. Kirpi, Amazon ve Vuran gibi zırhlı araçları, Taktik Tekerlekli Araçları, Lojistik Destek Araçları ve sayısız pek çok özel savunma aracıyla farklı coğrafyalarda görev yapıyor.
Türkiye'nin milli ana muharebe tankı Altay'ın seri üretim sorumluluğunu da üstlenen BMC, aynı zamanda zırhlı araçlar ve Altay tankı için motor geliştirme projelerini de yürütüyor.
Yerli marka Tümosan; tarlada, denizde, araçlarda, arazide...
Yurt içi ve dışındaki müşterileri için zırhlı araçlar üreten BMC, geçen yıl savunma sanayisi gelirlerini %86 artırdı. Şirketin, 2017'de 298 milyon dolar olan savunma sanayisi gelirleri geçen yıl 554 milyon dolara ulaştı. Savunmadaki gücünü her geçen gün artıran, büyük bir ivme yakalayan BMC, savunma gelirlerinde %86 artışla bu yıl ilk kez savunma sanayisinde dünyanın en büyük 100 şirketi arasına girmeye hak kazandı.
